Shara lives with her partner alongside one human child and three very nonhuman children who absolutely run the household. Every member of the family is ominous in their own special way.

Having two writers under one roof comes with all the perks you’d imagine—late-night plotting sessions, dramatic character debates, shelves overflowing with books—and quite a few strange little rituals nobody warns you about. Inspiration tends to strike at inconvenient hours, usually over coffee, thunderstorms, or while one of them is trying to sleep.

As an autistic and ADHD creative, Shara experiences the world intensely and imaginatively, which spills into every corner of her writing. She’s drawn to complicated emotions, powerful women, found family, devotion wrapped in darkness, and characters who refuse to fit neatly into anyone’s expectations.

When she isn’t writing, Shara enjoys taking care of the people she loves, collecting moments that feel a little magical, and staring out the window dreaming up new adventures. Her spirituality leans pagan, rooted in intuition, nature, symbolism, moonlight, and the quiet belief that there’s always a little more lurking beneath the surface of the world.
